Midsommar is described as follows on Sweden’s official tourism website: “Finally the days are long again and in Sweden everyone is getting ready for the festival of festivals: Midsummer! People wear wreaths of flowers in their hair and families dance, sing and hop like frogs around a maypole. So if you think that people in Sweden don’t know how to party, you’re wrong!”
Well, if you swap Sweden for Bavaria, that works great too. Well, instead of wreaths of flowers, we prefer traditional hats. But would anyone seriously want to claim that Vroni doesn’t look absolutely gorgeous in a dirndl with a wreath of flowers and as a Midsommar fairy and Bavarian milk cows on the alpine pasture? 🥰
